Lustro di Luna is a blend of Grecanico and Chardonnay. It is a white dry wine, which merge the potential of Grecanico that grew close to the seaside and the features of the Chardonnay that flourish on the green hills, in the “Lago Arancio” area.
“Lustro di Luna” wine is the best amalgam to join and enforce the tastes of fish and white meats as chicken or rabbit, especially grilled, in a delicious cascade of flavour.
It has got the same “Nero d’Avola” quality. Fruity flavoured aroma mixed with sweet spicy and vanilla flavoured tastes given by the barrique during the refining.
PRODUCTION: Grapes soaking made by controlled temperature, marc separation from must and refining in oak Barriques for 12 months.
Food Matching: Red meat based dishes, boar minced meat, cold cuts of pork meat and mature cheese.
GRAPES: 100% Nero d’avola.
COLOURS: Red Rubin wine with crimson shimmers.
PERFUMES: Fruity aroma, with raspberry, cherry and blackberry tastes, together with sweet spicy and vanilla flavoured notes.
TASTES: Warm, well balanced with good freshness and strong aroma persistence. Final touch with fruity notes.
